In Finland, much attention is paid to social projects for children, including those aimed at the formation of friendly relations between Finnish and Russian schools. In 2017, Rosatom implemented a student exchange program between Pyhäjoki and Sarov. Last year, an international children’s camp was organized in Kalajoki. Kids from Bulgaria, Hungary, Russia and Finland participated in the initiative, learning about cross-cultural communication and forming lasting friendship bonds.

The initiative of local communities is also actively supported. In Kalajoki, a ”Russian cuisine club” was established at the request of the residents.
